CRTC news you should know about, HILLSIDE, CMW, Episode 213 and 214

If you read Section A of the Newspaper (that's a daily print media with
news weather and sports, but that's not important now) you have learned
that the Canadian Radio(and TV) Telecom Commission or CRTC (same acrynom
but ever changing name) does not dictate to us - rather it is there to
serve our interests and do our bidding.

They are looking at reversing the decison on pay for what you eat internet
usage. That is good for humanity. They are also grappling with the SIRUS
XM Satellite Radio merger. Will these two stations merge in Canada or
operate seperate and apart? I believe a monopoly would not be good for
music artists or for fans. Competition rocks. Under DISCUSSIONS at
IndieCan Radio's facebook you can see the letter I sent them in support of
thei two entities working seperate and appart.
