Lightbox, 330 King Street West to see Lauren Parsekian’s USA 2010 award
winning film, FINDING KIND.  Woman are bitches to each other and any man
who has been on the receiving end of the Hell’s fury of a woman scorn is
only experience a glimpse of the landmines of female socialization that
girls face starting at puberty.
FINDING KIND is an eye opening documentary that does talk to pros about
what’s up with mean-girl syndrome.  But way more enriching the documentary
is about the cross-country crusade a couple of
victims/perpetrators/bystanders of girl-tribe cruelty as they bring the
message of kindness and amends to a nation of youth.
People of every age-group and gender will have their minds and hearts
opened by this sincere portrayal of human cruelty and the difference
someone can make if they say, “No.”
