D.O.A.Canada’s  punk legends are getting ready for an all out musical Blitzkrieg, as they  announce a 30 date, two continent tour across Canada, America, Brazil and  Argentina this fall. As always D.O.A. will deliver good times, activism  and sheer rock power.  D.O.A.founder Joe Shithead Keithley promises  to take the D.O.A.show to new heights, aided by his ultra able henchmen: Dirty  Dan Sedan (bass) and Jesse “The Kid” Pinner(drums) This burning hot trio has  been called “The Cream” of punk rock.

 But in 2011 there’s  even more. The tour will be in support of Canada’s punk godfatherJoe Shithead  Keithley’snew book: TALK – ACTION = 0:An Illustrated History. The book is an amazing  combo of posters, photos, single and album covers that includes narrated  details to go with the 1000 plus images by the man himself.  As the tour proceeds, Joewill be playing  free solo shows at record stores along the way, where you can have a first hand  look at TALK – ACTION = 0. Joewill play his trusty old Gibson SG and spin some  yarns from his book, this is followed by a Q and A session.

Starting in  Kamloops, BC, D.O.A.will team up with noted film maker Marcus Rogers and  producer Chon Holowaychuk to record a live DVD/Album. The tour moves from  Kamloops to Edmonton to Calgary to Red Deer to Canmore. So come on down and be  part of the action with The Men of Action: D.O.A.

The Jolts New Album 8%

Sudden Death  Recordsare pleased to announce the release of The Joltsnew album 8%. This is  the second album from one of Canada’s best rock n’ roll bands. On 8%,The Jolts mesmerize you with a relentless combo of power riffs and foot stomping  chorus’s. Hailing from Vancouver,The Joltshave been building up to this point  for the last six years. They have toured and grown exponentially in power and  delivery. This new album features instant classic anthems like: I Wanna Dig, Loudness  and Lips (I want Your) All in all, it’s a brilliant marriage of rock and punk. The  Joltswill be touring across the world in the coming months, including shows  with label mates D.O.A.in Alberta.
