Greetings, fellow music fans.

What a week I am having!  Canada Day at Downsview was spectacular.
You may have seen some picture teasers from the show on the web site
but there is a lot more coming so check back from time to time this
weekend.

The Cindy Doire Band is one of those local gems that one day, you may
find yourself saying, “I remember way hearing her way back when on
IndieCan before the rest of the world knew about her.”  I am a fan,
can you tell.  Today we also launch our first ever bilingual IndieCan
– you’ll see what I mean when you tune in.

Mild mannered Todd Maffin’s true identity is revealed today: POD MAN –
is here to bring us safely into the future.  A broadcaster, pod caster
and lecturer no one is more connected  to trends and media and he
leaves you with a refreshingly positive outlook for the future – thank
you POD MAN.

We also have Montreal's Marc Gelinas, which is a sneak preview of next
weeks show.   Social Psycho Breakdown in on the bill because I wanted
to say their name.  Red Roses Black and Windsor’s Inoke Errati were
part of the Buck Brothers farewell to Canada at the Drake and I have
something from them as well. Factor Fiction, Southpaw and The
Leatherettes were NXNE pickups and Amanda Rheaume from Ottawa, in
tribute to the smokin’ hot CD release party she put on in T.Dot.  Was
that a fun show!!

Some of you tell me there are shows you just have to hear over and
over again.  Let me know what you think, but this might be one of them.

To all those we met at Rock The Park on Canada day, more pictures and
commentary are coming soon, as well as some band interviews that will
be part of a radio – sorry Todd, a pod cast show soon.

Be good to each other.
