If you are Canadian it’s the May long weekend! As always, at IndieCan we
want to send you on your way with hours of the good stuff – commercial
free. I’ll tell you about this week’s show in a minute, but feel free to
download some extra to get you though the weekend – share it with friends,
play it loud, cheer for the Hawks, The Pens or what ever floats your
hockey-horny conscience.

New music this week includes Ghost Bees, Dinosaur Bones, The Balconies,
Hotcha and Bill Colgate. We check in again with Black Diamond Bay, The
Olympic Symposium, Chinese Food, The David Rotundo Band and Hunter
Valentine.

Meet Laurence Currie this week – or get to know him better if you already
know him. Laurence and I sit in the sun of the patio at The Cadillac
Lounge. He – along with Moe Berg (the only man ever to write a hit song
with the world rhyming smiling with beguiling and making sense) have a new
show you can see on AUX TV called Master Tracks. Moe Berg, in his role as
producer and Laurence Currie as engineer, welcome one band into Metal
Works Studio to record one song in one day. The premise in itself creates
some great drama and for a guy like me who has no time for TV, I find time
for this – on line, anyway. Hear all about it on Episode 132.

Enough from me for now – it’s the weekend – time management and all. Next
week we look at Hamilton Spring Music Fest and preview NXNE.
