What a week I am having! IndieCan is more fun than legally allowed by
CRTC regulation. DAN HILL, IndieCan Urban and Episode 169:
Earlier this week, we were at Dan Hill, life at the Royal Ontario Museum.
Over the next couple of weeks well have segments of an interview with
this five-time Juno, one-time Grammy winning singer/songwriter/performer.
You can see pictures of the performance and well take you into his
Toronto home (pictorially) where we talked shop for about an hour. Dan
Hills new book I Am My Fathers Son chronicles his life in music under
the shadow of a tumultuous father/son relationship. In a two part series
on Episode 170 and 171 youll hear us talking about the music biz,
transitioning from song writing to prose and back again.
For now, lurk away with the pictures we captured.
THIS WEEK on Episode 169 We are feeling rather Olympic in our
coast-to-coast run of chat and music. We have bands performing at the
Olympics, up for prizes at the East Coast Music Awards next week and
gearing up for Canadian Music Week.
