With the Toronto International Film Festival in town, The Canadian
Music Cafe, now in its third year showcases great-white-north music to
Festival delegates (only).  Ahh, but IndieCan is there to bring you
the music and the story behind it. Canadian Music Cafe coordinator
Chris Tetter was rolling with the fickle finger of fate for three days
and from an audience point of view, the showcase went off without a
hitch.  As part of Episode 55 Chris talks to us about why film, TV and
music are so connected.

Our ?live at IndieCan? feature artist is SAM HELL.  This
once-Edmonton, now T.Dot native band just came off the road and they
have some stories to tell.  SAM HELL is a band I for one am very high
on and I look forward to sharing my find with you.  We also tease you
with two of the 15 elite artists selected to perform, Hunter Valentine
and Lily Frost. We also hear from another Edmonton transplant Sonica
who are hitting the road so, you can play along with the Sonica on the
road game.

There are Canadian Music Café images to feast your eyes on at
www.indiecan.com/events and soon we will be adding commentary and
audio interviews from acts like, Great Lake Swimmers, Justin Rutlidge,
United Steel Workers of Montreal, The Saint Alvia Cartel and?. Well,
let?s keep a few sunrises.

IndieCan Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal team members are meeting up in
Montreal.  Strictly business, I assure you.

Keep the cards and letters coming including, say, ?Hi? at our new
IndieCan Radio group on Face Book.   I know, I know - me too? but see
you there.

Have a great weekend.  Thanks kindly for spending a little of it with us.

Warm regards,

Joe Chisholm
