THANKSGIVING @ INDICAN RADIO!

Here is Canada it is our Thanksgiving Weekend in the tradition of
struggling to be different we have football unlike anyone else, put weird
stuff on French-fries and have our holidays at different times. I don’t
know what it all means and I don’t eat Turkey, but I do know what it means
to be grateful and today I am. Just getting back to Toronto from POP
Montreal in time for Indie Week, I find that live music is alive and well
and I give thanks to all of you for supporting IndieCan and making us part
of your cultural and social indulgence each week. It’s a busy face space
book my twitter world out there and we don’t forget that in a week without
enough time, more and more of you are spending an hour or so with us.
It’s an honour to be part of your music world and thank you for being part
of ours.

WE HAVE SWAG!!!!!!!!
Nothing says I support Canadian Independent Music like your own IndieCan
T-Shirt. We’re using the proceeds to cover our travel and production
costs for outings like our upcoming Halifax POP Explosion. We now have
high-quality black T’s for $20 in men’s Small, Medium, Large and XL.
Contact us at info at indiecan.com if you would like one. We’ll have them at
IndieCan Wednesday at The Annex Wreckroom this week October 15th if you
are in Toronto.

LIVE MUSIC FOR FREE IN TORONTO EVERY WEDNESDAY
Come be part of a growing community Wednesdays on Bathurst at Bloor, The
Annex Wreckroom, where IndieCan hosts a night of great music of music,
pool and socializing with artists, fans and industry.

This week is special, Patrick Krief, (The Dears) has been writing songs
and has assembled a band called Black Mountain Bay. This is a 60’s guitar
driven jam rock style band that shows off some great melody making,
ripping guitar solos and a rock-solid back up band in Roberto, Andre and
George. If you play guitar, love guitar or know someone who does, I would
call this a “not to be missed” show. If you haven’t already seen this
act, I will buy you a beer if you’re not impressed and if you have seen
them, like me, I know you’re coming back for more. Mark October 15th down
and change your other plans if you have to. Friends will understand –
maybe bring them.

Details at our Myspace and Facebook.
