This week on IndieCan Radio what is old is new again. Stompin’ Tom has an
Olympic song. You hear it first here. I was at an Olympic touch relay
and it was the most deplorable commercial sell out I have ever endured.
Coke, RBC, Bombardier, I can live the rest of my life without your help or
products. Artists associated with the Olympics have had to sing a gag
order not to dis the Country, the sponsors or the games. So let me say
"Goodnight Coke, RBC and Bompardier. See you again, never. Bombardier
had the bad taste to inclue the national anthem in their advertising. And
they were were least offensive of the three.

“From 9 to 5 I have to spend my time at work, my job is very boring I’m an
office clerk. The only thing that helps me pass the time away is knowing
I’ll be back at Echo Beach some day (cue the Sax solo)” Who knows what I
am talking about? February Martha and the Muffins have a new album coming
out. We have a bite out of the muffin this episode.

Hollerado have put in the hours and they get paid: $250,000 from Ottawa’s
The Big Money Shot. Something right is going on in the world. It helps
me to heal from Nickleback winning band of the decade. What the hell is
going on with pop culture?

The Cunninghams join us back stage at the Elmo to talk up their second CD.
We have a couple of tunes form them too.

Barron S will make you dance; The Stage Hands will make you want to head
for Broadway, Monster America and The Arkells rock hard, Billy the Kid and
Serena bring two very different sounds of Girl-power.

Download it or stream it for free
. This one’s better the 2nd and 3rd time.

Thanks to the artists for sharing with us, it’s an honour to bring it to you!
